Ascent Trip ReportMilitary summit, highpoint no longer easily accessible. In September 2018 there was just an old derelict fence with the secure area much smaller. By April 2019 the new fence was built.
From NE, Font de Partagat, tortuous and tatty paved road, Google Maps took me straight to the road end trailhead. Signed botanical trail leads to foot of cliffs, then rising traverse path (Subida por el Forat on OpenStreetMap) climbs R, with 3m slightly tricky YDS4 scramble leads thru cliff band, then well worn clifftop path leads past an outcrop (2-3m lower than foot of radar dome according to my hand level) and skirts N side of secure military double fence. Trig pillar is visible inside fence E of radome, c.5m higher than the fence at that point. A short way W, mapped path descends easy stony slope and links with upward route. In such cases where the only obstacle is manmade, I settle for highest legally accessible point. Paths used are accurately shown on OpenStreetMap.
