Ascent Trip ReportIf you park at the State Forest lot, be careful, it is dirt and will be a mess if it is wet. The HP is just outside the State Forest lands, on Private Property. Actually, the house appears to sit on it. Anyway, you can go into the fields and follow mowed trails to a little section that has a swing (or glider, as my wife corrects me) and a bench. This is just over the stone fence from the new house where the HP sits. The owner is nice and we chatted for a bit.
On another note, I have no idea why this is a prominence peak, as it seems pretty flat. |
