Ascent Trip ReportDown Sugarland Mountain Trail after ascending Middle Peak for acouple of miles until the trail turns to the West side of the ridgeline. Choices are to follow the ridge up to the top of this knob, or to go West as the ridge elevates and look for the access up the rocks that matches your skill and exposure threshholds. I chose the rockclimbing as I have done enough Southern bushwacking and appreciate a straight up fight. Yelling down at the folks gather on top of the Chimney was priceless. |
