Trail head is located on Wilton Warren Rd a paved road that turns to dirt off of Route 302. There is parking and a yellow farmhouse is located to the right of the trail head. The Fire Warden’s Trail starts off as a dirt road with a decent incline. The trail crosses two snow mobile bridges and after the second bridge the incline becomes much steeper and the trail narrows to a more traditional hiking path. The upper portion is steep and covered with loose rocks. The peak consists of open rock face with some short grass and trees. There is an inaccessible watch tower and views of the White Mountains and Pleasant Pond.
