Laurel Lakes Road to the trailhead is class 1 for dogs but class 4 for cars D: We walked from the intersection of Sherwin Creek road and took 1.5 hours to get to the actual trailhead. I have heard it takes 1 hour to drive it.
Exposed hike with no running water so we waited for a cloudy day and were very glad we did. Moody overcast views from the top were awesome, feels like you could see into town. Good for dogs!
