Ascent Trip Report

Hiked from Paradise Trailhead up Skyline Trail to Panorama Point peak about halfway up Mt. Rainier and back. Stopped at Panorama Point Vista, Glacier Vista, and Alta Vista. Great wildflowers and wildlife. Very dynamic and unpredictable weather and temps. Was originally planning on doing the whole loop and getting further up McClure Rock but rain clouds started coming in and weather was getting colder. Heavily trafficked trail with many people but they were friendly and so were the animals like Marmots and Chipmunks that appeared to be standing around the trail begging for food.
