pass through a large burned out area /fire from lightning strike
fire in grasslands 15 miles to our south east 6/18
large male bear on way out of miranda on summit day. slow easy pace had us on summit by 11:00 am . easy/ moderate scramble up shale/loose watch ankles. lunch on top.. flurries and sprinkles.views are excellent. down back side, pretty steep on the copper park side/ 6/23
