Ascent Trip ReportCamped along Big Creek and hiked along the road to Kingston Summit. From here there are several paths to the peak. My ascent followed the ridge going northwest from Kingston Summit. This ridge has great views of the surrounding area. It leads northwest for a mile and a half before reaching a summit at 9800 ft. From this point, to reach Big Creek Peak, follow the ridge to the southwest for a little less than a mile. The south summit of Big Creek Peak is 1500 ft to the south. It is 10 ft lower that Big Creek Peak. |
