Ascent Trip Report

Iliya and I had a wonderful time doing the North Ridge in and out. Rope-free up and down. Stay on the ridge. All the goat ledges you read about suck and they don’t help. The ridge seems exposed when you’re looking at it, but there are always good holds and it’s better to be on top of the ridge than hanging off the cliff on some crappy mossy slippery ledge that eventually ends and forces you to climb back up anyways. I selected “ford” because we forded Sigurd Creek on the way out.
