Ascent Trip ReportAscended via Blue Summit Trail. Ridiculously steep trail but I charged up as quickly as I could. Quickly enough that I decided it would probably be a one-peak day - disappointing since it took a mentally-draining 3.5-hour drive to get there. The lack of views at the top due to cloud cover didn't help, and I spent no more than 30 seconds at the top before turning about face. By the time I made it back to the car (about 5:00 PM), I decided I would go for Bromley as originally planned, but only after a snack stop. |
