Ascent of Mount Harvard on 2007-07-04Other People: | Solo Ascent
| Date: | Wednesday, July 4, 2007 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Motorized Transport to Trailhead: | Car | Peak: | Mount Harvard | Location: | USA-Colorado | Elevation: | 14420 ft / 4395 m |
Ascent Trip ReportI started at 6:30 AM, reached the top at 10:15, and got back to the car at 2PM. I pushed myself pretty hard on this one. The weather was great, there was a cool breeze at the summit, but it was not at all unpleasant. There were a couple of friendly marmots wandering around the summit, no doubt looking for handouts. Great views all around. Missouri Basin is really spectacular. |
