Ascent Trip ReportUnguided trip up Denali In total we spend 10 full days on the mountain. Day 1 arrived at basecamp at 8pm and headed to camp 1 arriving about 1am (since the sun doesn't really set this allowed us to travel during the cooler hours and while the snow bridges were holding better) Day 2 moved to camp 11k Day 3 moved to camp 14k - first 2 days were tough due to the single carry to each camp, as most port loads across multiple days. We also decided to take only 1 sled instead of two which I think worked well but it did mean one of us were much faster than the other Day 4 we did an acclimatization cache up the fixed lines on the wall to 16k - Lauren didn't make it all the way and for good reason. We were really pushing our acclimatization Days 5-7 two storms came through preventing us from leaving the tent. Luckily we had friendly neighbors to play cards with Day 8 moved to camp 17k Day 9 summit day Day 10 we stayed at camp 17 while a storm rolled in then headed for camp 11k in the afternoon Day 11 back to basecamp and got a flight out
