Ascent Trip ReportOriginally was headed for a hike in the Mount Laughington area, but as the gate was locked, we went for Cheam instead. Once at the col with Lady, we decided Lady was a more interesting objective. Excellent snow climbing conditions, but some steep, iced-over gullies near summit meant scrambling over exposed rock; witnessed a huge avalanche coming off the NW face of Knight Peak; extremely easy descent with 5 very long glissades from near the summit back to the base |
