Ascent Trip ReportSurprisingly nice hike with some scrambling along the final ridge and a couple rock climbing moves on the summit block. The final 10-15 ft climb on the summit block is pretty moderate and unexposed, it could be good to have some rock climbing experience for this. There is webbing on the summit to rappel from if needed.
The parking area is not signed, but there are trees to park in the shade. Head up the furthest right road of the three roads and shortly reach a tower. The trail continues from there.
Note: There are two summit blocks each w/cairns on top. The one to the east is higher and is not currently circled on this site. My gps shows both of them. |
