|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||442 ft / 134 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI stayed in Essington PA, and awoke early and was on the road by 6 a.m. From Interstate-95, I exited onto Naamans Road, now apparently in Delaware, although I never saw a sign on the freeway saying this was a whole new state. Out west, the state line signs are gigantic, full of fanfare. Back east, because there's a new state every hundred miles or so, I guess it's not that exciting to be entering into a new state.
From the exit, I proceeded west to Ebright Road, about 4 miles from the interstate. I parked on Turf Road and paced the area, walking over to the sign on Ebright Road denoting the state highpoint. A big field west of the road and east of a trailer park could also contain the highpoint, as could the trailer park itself. Wherever it is, it's an easy state highpoint to visit, probably the easiest of all 50 states. As soon as I was done, I re-entered Pennsylvania and headed west along US-30 into Amish country and for more Pennsylvania county highpoints.
