Ascent Trip ReportParked at the dirt turnout on Vista Del Lago about 1/3 mile south of Iris Ave. There is room for about 15 cars. We crossed Vista Del Lago and hopped on the trail which is easy to spot. The trail is fairly flat for the first mile, but then gains elevation after you leave the main trail onto the single track. The trail is overgrown and completely absent in some places - we used a combination of AllTrails and "it looks like it must be over there" navigation. You will eventually get to the summit, but might end up doing a little cross country/bushwhacking or bouldering if you end up on a errant path. Great views of Lake Perris, the city down below and snow-capped San Gorgonio. No benchmark or register that I could find on the summit. Total trip was 5.2 miles/1280ft elevation gain out-and-back.
