Ascent Trip Report

I climbed this almost 2 years ago and there was lots of water in the creek. I was surprised to see that the Boulder Canyon Trail was completely dry today. My memory isn't too good anymore so was glad to have my GPS track from last time to follow. I even got lost in the same places as last time about 3 times!

It was a beautiful warm sunny day today, with a nice breeze, an absolutely perfect day for climbing. I made a shorter loop than last time, taking a couple of unmarked trails as well as the 2nd Water and Hackberry Spring Trails. I'm camped at

the Horse Trails Trailhead on Apache Trail so trying to find as many different ways to get to and from there as possible. The Cal Topo app has many, but not all of the trails on there. Having a fun time exploring the area and trying to figure out all the interconnecting trails.
