Ascent Trip Report

Parked at TH - a precarious 8 miles of dirt road that made me HAPPY we had a 4WD - and descended 3 miles to Cedar Creek Falls. Obvious trail - although we took a left and went over a saddle and ended up in the upper falls area. REtraced our route and continued down to the deep pool. COLD water - I jumped in a few times - bbrrrrr! Just as we were leaving, Eileen and Eric Kelleher/Sunday showed up - and we enjoyed time with them. After another 20 or 30 minutues, we packed up our stuff and hiked the 2.5 miles up the canyon back to our cars. BEAUTIFUL area - loved the steep cliffs and drop off. Gorgeous views and I understand why people woudl flock here in the summer. Pristine water - great on a hot day.
