Ascent Trip Report

Skied to the summit of Brown Mountain as part of a backcountry ski class at Southern Oregon University. Had great powder conditions on the NE aspect on the ski down. Kept getting pulled E by the fall line and felt like we were spending a lot of time traversing to the N. Had trouble with vertigo in a couple spots and large holes through the snow in the lava fields. Great time.
