Ascent Trip ReportAmazing views! High clearance vehicle required to get as close to the trail start as possible. My highlander started scraping rocks so I had to stop short, adding extra miles to the hike. The beginning of the hike is very steep with lots of loose rock. Hiking poles are highly recommended! The trail is intermittent, once you find it the going is much easier, watch for foot prints. The steep section is tough on the way down, hence the need for poles. There's a can at the top in some rocks on the left with a peak register.
