Ascent Trip ReportSee Setzer Mountain TR for full trail and ascent data.
From the saddle between Setzer and Campbell Lick I headed south on the road that ascends the ridge. Eventually the road starts dropping off onto the east side of Campbell and you'll have to begin your bushwhack. I found a decent deer trail for much of the ascent. The summit offers obscured views of the Plott Balsam's high peaks.
I descended the northwest ridge, aiming at the radio towers marked on USGS maps. No views from the tower sites.
Ascent data is from the saddle. |
