Ascent Trip Report

Fun day on The Castle and the traverse. Snow covered a lot of the traverse but still protectable with slings, pickets not needed. Just enough time to do it with a party of 3 and get back to Longmire before the gates closed. Low avi conditions across the board and a clear day, easy snowshoe trip up to the saddle, then crampons up to the base.
