Ascent Trip Report

The track is the descent only.

We had to turn around just below a pair of fallen widow makers. Happily it was only just over a mile to the summit from here.

They were big ones!

This is what Dennis meant by "ugly burned over, snag filled, brushy area".

Looks like this has been driven around for quite some time. Happily the road bed was quite wide here.

On the summit. You can see what Dennis meant by "Ugly burned over, brushy summit".

But it was a great view of Diamond Peak!
