Ascent Trip ReportMade a 2nd ascent of this peak heading up the Old Butt Knob/Art Loeb Trails after bagging Shining Rock.
The old Art Loeb trail that ascents from the present trail was a lot easier to ascend in the winter compared to my first visit here back in the summer. At the top I explored around and got some shit-your-pants spectacular views towards Black Balsam Knob. I simply could not believe how clear and calm it was out!! |
