Parked at the Crawford Train Station. Three cars but at the end of the day full parking lot and parking along the road. Hike to Avalon. Need Spikes for sure. Coming down was very icy due to the foot traffic. Once you reach the junction of the Willey trail and Avalon. You keep going and there will be a viewpoint on your right for the summit of the Northwest. Continue to you see a sign 100 yards for the summit. At the top go left for the view. The next left is the trail to Mount Willey.
