Ascent Trip ReportWaterrock Knob to Plott Balsam and Back via Browning Knob and Mount Lyn Lowry. At Lyn Lowry, I met two brothers. The three of us quickly hiked out to Plott Balsam to beat the setting sun. On the way back just north of Lyn Lowry, one of the brothers experienced severe leg cramping. We ran into some hunters with trucks and dogs who were nice enough to offer them a ride out of the woods. I continued solo back to the Waterrock Knob parking lot and made it back just after dark. |
