Ascent Trip ReportCalfire's Chief Kent Cunningham kindly arranged for one of his Fort Jones crew, Lars Pryor, to drive me to Duzel Rock L.O. The approach through private property and locked gates limits access. From Fort Jones go 6 miles north on CA 3 to Moffett Creek Rd; right 7 miles to Duzel Rock Rd; left 8 miles to the end of the road below the steep, narrow rocky summit ridge. A 1/4-mile asphalt-covered trail leads to the well maintained Duzel Rock L.O., which is staffed only at times of high fire danger.
