Ascent Trip Report

Quick side trip from the road to Poito Mountain. Parked on the ridge before the radio tower and went for it. Stayed to the right side of the mountain which looked easier. Lots of knee to hip high brush and loose steep rock. Once the ridge is gained the walking gets much easier all the way to the summit pile which is marked with a large stick. There is a pickle jar with a notepad in the rock pile. Nobody had been up here in 7 months. Views are really nice and were worth the 1 hour round trip hike.
