Ascent Trip ReportProbably my favorite trip of the summer 2020.
Met with Ryan at 6AM at the TH in sequoia national forest (I can't think of the name now) but it was off 198 and I had to take a dirt road to get there. I believe Mitchell Peak is a short hike commonly done from that TH.
Started the ascent to a pass at 6AM and was at Roaring River station by 11AM with Ryan. Camped at a lake above Colby Lake at 11,500'. The following day we summit Midway Class 2 (west face) and back to the car by 10PM....crazy weekend but awesome. Saw only 2-other parties.
