|Date:||Saturday, October 3, 2009|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Mount San Antonio|
| Elevation:||10064 ft / 3067 m|
Ascent Trip ReportStarted hike at 6 am; climbed via Baldy Bowl Trail from Mankers Flat Trailhead. Followed two other hikers so I would not miss the trail that takes off with little notice above the fire road. This crucial turn is located after the road makes a sharp left after the long stretch past the San Antonio Falls marked by a dead tree. Arrived at ski hut at 0731 hr. Summited between 0918 - 0929 hr. It was very gusty (and cold as a result) at the summit, but clear with great views. Back at ski hut at 1032 hr., arrived back at car/Mankers Flat at 1142 hr.
