Ascent Trip Report

I combined this one with Golden Horn on a one day adventure. Doing all 23 miles with the mass of elevation gain hurt, but, it felt gratifying that I could make it happen. The scrambling on Tower mountain is not too difficult, save for the main gulley. The rock is horribly loose and it was impossible to climb up without sending rocks careening down towards other climbers. It never went over class three as far as I could tell. A worthy goal, but if I do it again I would consider grabbing a camping site at Snowy lakes to save some leg.
