Ascent Trip Report

Trail in good shape all the way up to Earl with some minor snow on the trail. Two stream crossing to worry about - we made to with the rocks but no guarantee easy crossing for the rest of the season. Potential for boots off through the water.
Headed along the ridge with goal of Bean Peak. Climbers trail follows most of it staying along the climbers left side of the ridge. There were a few steeper spots you need to pay attention for. We encountered some frozen snow which were more slick than we expected. You will encounter lose rock as well. We had a minor injury in our party so we headed down into Bean Creek Basin and out to the trailhead without making it all the way to Beak. I will be back for Bean, Volcanic Neck and Devil's Head at some point!
