|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||3600 ft / 1097 m|
Ascent Trip Reportarrived at TH 7AM, shelter at 0815 and greeted by 2 campers and 3 dogs. ledges above were problematic - all runoff had frozen and despite haveing mini-spikes i skirted around to the left. arrived at South at 10AM and found a 10th Mountain Division flag with the pole stuck down into the cairn and a picture attached to it - obviously a memorial. Only when i got home and looked at my pics did I find out the soldier was SFC Jared C. Monti, posthumous Medal of Honor recipient who died in action in Afghanistan. man does he have a view and he deserves it. made it over to North by 11 and back to road by 1PM just as it started to sleet and snow.
