Ascent Trip ReportA beautiful October day with temps in low 20s by afternoon made for an auspicious beginning to the hike. A cool morning led to losing layers as we got into the cirque and began to heat up. We started up the scree as the only group ascending but we were soon passed by another that began the onslaught of boulders raining down on us. We decided to wait off to the side while they made the col and began their summit bid. |
