Ascent Trip Report

Grueling bushwhack but “fun” trying to figure out where you are and which way to go. On the bushwhack, we found some herd paths and lost them several times. We had an experienced group of 4 that started at 810am and got back to the Loj at 610pm (10 hours.) If you can find the herd paths you could probably take an hour or 2 off the bushwhack section. But most of them are hard to follow and find. It was a perfect fall Saturday and we didn’t see one person after the street/nye junction.....

16 miles total with 13 of them on manageable trails. The bushwhack is about 1.5 miles each way.
