Ascent Trip ReportFrom the RT113 parking area I hiked the Mt. Morgan T to the Crawford-Ridgepole T to the summit of Morgan than proceeded to the summit of Percival. Returned by the Mt. Percival T.
This loop was outstanding for the Birch-Oak forests and ridgeline it follows through and for its small challenges such as an optional ladder up the side of a small cliff or an optional route through caves created by very large glacial erratics. There were outstanding views of Squam Lake and Lake Winnipesauke. The Belknap and Ossippee ranges were in complete view along with the Sandwich Range and the White Mountains to the north.
Very well marked and relatively decent trails.
