Ascent Trip Report

A circuit of the southern Rhinns of Kells from Forrest Lodge: Corserine, Carlin's Cairn, Corserine again, Millfire. Milldown, Meikle Millyea true summit and summit adjacent to trig, ending with a few minor slips on the wet grass and heather of the Meikle Lump descent. The views towards the Awful Hand range and the largely unspoiled adjacent hills and lochs make this a really outstanding walk.
