Ascent Trip ReportSW Face from Gabbot Pass. Messy class 2 with class 3-4 at the top.
Fatigued from an adventure in the Minarets, we trudged over Piute Pass and onward to Bear Lakes before exploring class 3 scrambling routes up Feather, Abbot, Gabb, and Starr. Brad joined us for Feather Peak and Bear Lakes. I exited via Mills Creek and Mono Pass with Rafee while Mike and Lindsey continued onward in their summer of peaks with Jacob and his resupply of goodies. My first non-technical backpack trip since 2018 was an enjoyable change of pace. I appreciate Lindsey and Mike for planning a fun one! Will they ever get worn out?
