Ascent Trip ReportSouthbound Ptarmigan Traverse with Josh Lewis. Skirted around West side of Sentinel then scrambled up the ridge following the county line. Some class 3 higher on the ridge direct which can be avoided by heading West onto the face of talus and duff via benches. Views were obscured by storm clouds. No lizard on top but there was a goat. We followed him for our route down to White Rock Lakes via duff and more talus to avoid using the South Cascade Glacier. |
