Ascent Trip ReportWelch Mt. and Dickey Mt. are a very nice hike. The loop trail offers many views of Waterville Valley and the surrounding mountains. Footing is generally good and a significant amount of the trail is on ledge.
I would strongly recommend not to hike this in wet weather nor if there is a chance of rain. This is a great hike for anyone wanting a taste of mountain hiking without committing to a very strenuous hike. Great for children provided that they remain disciplined due to several cliffs along the route. This trail may be busy.
