Ascent Trip ReportAfter the previous afternoon's Le Rocher Blanc ascent.
From WNW, track with limited parking at start or at col just above. Trail along W ridge starts further E than shown on OpenStreetMap, nice narrow ridge with one move of easy scrambling YDS2+, signed as pericolo but not really, lovely views of the Lago. Grassy summit in trees, fine viewpoint and cross a few m to NE a little lower. Then path zigzags down S face to become the main track leading back to trailhead, presumably the official route nowadays although both routes have newish yellow paint marks.
The 100th P600m summit of my trip. Monte Nudo photos
In the afternoon I climb Monte San Salvatore just across the border in Switzerland.
