Ascent Trip Report

I started at Sareis and hiked to Pfälzerhütte via Augstenberg. Then I descended to approx. 1900m and hiked up to Ijesfürggli. The trail was steep, but not difficult. After that I had to go up a short scrambling section before the final ascend to Schwarzhorn.
The western ridge of Schwarzhorn looked very scary, so I went back down a few meters and descended down the south-east ridge. Then I traversed through the south face of Schwarzhorn and scrambled up the grassy slope to the saddle between Scharzhorn and Vordergrauspitz. The final ascend to Vordergrauspitz was not that difficult.
But the way back to Pfälzerhütte was long and difficult. All in all I needed 8:30 hours for the whole tour and totally exhausted myself.
