Ascent Trip Report

I'm still new to all of this, however, I thought the climb from the base was actually pretty straight forward. From Indian Valley we stayed to the right side of the ridgeline all the way to the Peak. The trip there was a very intense 5-6 miles of bush whacking. We were unable to see the trail for most of the route and with multiple rocks below our line of sight, twisting of the ankles was a constant issue. I would definitely recommend using gators, and an extra 1-2 pairs of socks. Once you see the mountain continue on Indian Valley trail until your past the thick part of the spruce. You can easily find a way across the stream, and will have to navigate around some marsh. At this point though the views are spectacular. One small section of scramble at the top. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JsYF_zwlxOw
