Ascent Trip ReportDrove in at sunset and parked at the pullout (old road junction) at BM 1852 (6075 feet) Found a spot between the many cow pies to put down a sleeping pad, then walked up in the morning. I may have been able to drive my 2WD CR-V further, but the road beyond that point was narrow and moderately rutted. The mountain seems overgrazed, but the low sage makes for easy cross country hiking. Found ladybugs congregating in the register can. I used Dennis' west side use trail to get a little shade on a warm morning.
