Ascent Trip Report

There is some thick brush in the vicinity of 3000'-3200'. Short but ugly. Once on the SE Ridge, smooth sailing to the lake and talus basin east of the summit. Gained the NE ridge at about 6400'. From there some airy class 3 and 4 scrambling with decent rock, then class 2/3 to about 100' below the summit. Here the ridge steepens with bad rock. Class 4 for about 50 feet with the final moves to the summit being loose class 3. We rappeled the class 4 step and were happy to do so; 30m rope adequate for the rappel. Downclimbing would be doable, but uncomfortable (at least for my comfort level).
