Ascent Trip Report

Nice day hiking Zealand. Trailhead lot was full but the overflow lot had plenty of room. Left Zealand around 9am and was back at car at 4pm. Trails: Zealand Trail to Twinway to summit and back. Stopped at Zealand Falls Hut, Zealand Falls, Zeacliffs, and Zeacliff Pond for views. Successful summit of Zealand Mountain. Trails were in good condition with no stream crossing issues. The hut was open selling lunch and other goodies. Bathrooms were open to public and filtered water available as well. The hut was not open to overnight bunk rentals due to COVID. Saw some pheasants(?) and a toad on the Twinway and three gray jays at the Zealand summit.
