Ascent Trip ReportSimul climbed the northeast ridge. Led simul blocks 1 and 3, while my partner led the middle simul climbing block. Amazing overnight trip, with a bivy at wing lake after a late start Saturday. Super fun route. Rock quality is definitely nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. It's a bit chossy for the initial part of the Ridge but the Rock quality is good for the majority of the route. Low 5th class climbing on mostly solid rock and incredible exposure and views.
Crampons were useful in the morning as the snow was frozen over.
Gear notes: a single rack up to BD 2 and lots of double length slings
