Ascent Trip ReportBiked up to this peak. Road is decent in some spots and terrible in others. Used my cross bike with 34c tires and it was fine. Saw a lifted 4 runner and subaru come down the sketchy part of the road when I was going up.
The summit was socked in the clouds, so no views for me today. It was only 47°F up there so a bit cold in my T-shirt and shorts. Portland reached 80°F later this evening.
Going back I took the Corral Springs Trail #507 to the Huxley Lake trail #521 down to 120 Spur road. Trail #521 was extremely overgrown as it does not get much traffic and I was constantly lifting my bike over large fallen trees while bunny hopping over the smaller ones.
