Ascent Trip ReportDriving track is attached. Think this does traverse some private property but no access issues at all. It's quite a road, 4WD and slow. It might have taken 1.5 to 2 hours to drive each way. I'd probably say 4WD above the 8840' saddle and you need high clearance to get close at all due to serious rutting on the downsloping traverse before that. Near the top I caught up to some comm tower workers who let me by. There were pulling a trailer behind their work trucks. Impressive feat, but they also said it took them 6 hours one way to drive the road. At the top is comm tower junk and wide views. An ultralight plane zoomed by and did dips and dives and such while on top so that was cool. The road was not cool. This is sustained unfun driving so definitely the easiest way to do the peak but this is not a good road.
