Ascent Trip Report

Biked in Rabbit Lake trail and stashed the bike near the lake. Went over towards McHugh Lake to gain the west ridge and attempt a summit from there. Weather was perfect, everything was good, except I didn't fill my water at the lake. I gained the ridge and was making my way towards the summit when I stopped for lunch and realized my water was nearly empty. It was at this point to that I also could not discover an obvious path forward, either on the north or south side of the ridge to navigate a 100' cliff that was in my way. After that cliff and following the next saddle I could see where the most travelled path lay. However, due to lack of water, and time of day I made the decision to head back down to the bike and make my way out to the trailhead. When I reattempt the Suicide Peaks I'm thinking I'll either spend a night at rabbit lake to get a fresh start on them, or hike it from Falls Creek as it seems many people are in the habit of doing.
